Find History Record

 

The Find History Record dialog box allows you to quickly locate a history record (posted invoice) from anywhere in the system. Using the Find History Record command, you can search the Manager database for the history record for a given invoice number or for history records for a certain type of vehicle.

To open the Find History Record dialog box:

        Select Find History Record from the Utilities menu.

        OR

        Press F4.

        The Find History Record dialog box appears.

There are two ways you can approach the task of locating a history record in the Find History Record dialog box, you can:

        Select the Invoice tab to locate the history record by searching for a specific invoice number. Refer to Find History Record (By Invoice Number) for details.

        OR

        Select the Vehicle tab to search for vehicle(s) of a specified Year, Make, or Model. Additionally, you can conduct a Word Search in this panel. Refer to Find History Record (By Vehicle) for details.

Finding a History Record (by Customer)
